The Red Barn Inn is operated in a fairly unique manner. Each of the ten bedrooms is available for individual rent— or the inn may be rented out as a whole— but, either way, all guests have access to the common living spaces and grounds. Unlike traditional inns, there aren’t staff on-site and you don’t need to check-in at a front desk. Walk in, get settled, and relax, savoring the special ambiance all around you.
Common Areas Inside the Inn
Whether you are renting the inn with loved ones, or just booked one room for yourself, the common areas at the inn are sure to delight. The main space in the Inn is the communal living space, with a multitude of comfortable seating areas and quiet corners, large dining room table, and communal kitchen. All guests are free to use these spaces.

On the Grounds
Walk the beautiful long drive as it snakes through the trees and along our pond. Sit on the porch with a coffee or cocktail. Fish the pond. Warm your toes by the Inn’s fire pit and, above all, revel all the beauty around you. Go ahead: explore.

Community Amenities
The Red Barn Inn is located next to one of the Deep Creek’s most desirable waterfront communities: Waterfront Greens. Within walking distance, guests can find a host of community amenities, available to them as guests at the Inn. These amenities include: a par-3 golf course, free outdoor tennis courts, a fishing pond, and three community lake access points to swim and play (dock slip not included).
Inn guests may use the swimming lake-access point in the nearby Waterfront Greens community. To access: turn right out of the driveway of the inn, before taking the second right into the adjacent community via Moonrise drive (use the second entrance into the community). Take a right onto Clubhouse drive. You may park your car at the community Clubhouse. Now on foot, walking behind and to the right of the Clubhouse, walk in the space between the row of houses and the lakefront, you will reach a cleared pathway, leading down to the water’s edge.
You may hang out in this space, swim, and enjoy the water!
